Please read these terms carefully before using our voice cloning service
By accessing or using our voice cloning service, you (whether a teacher or student) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
The service is provided for educational purposes:
Teachers: May use the service to create cloned voice audio for instructional content, such as narrated lessons or feedback, to enhance student engagement.
Students: May use the service to generate personalized speech for learning activities, such as practice exercises or presentations.
Users must not use the service for unlawful, harmful, or unethical purposes, including generating misleading or harmful audio content.
By uploading or recording a voice sample:
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your voice sample for the purpose of generating cloned voice audio as requested.
Voice samples and generated audio may be stored for future use to provide a seamless experience, such as reusing a teacher's voice for consistent lessons or a student's voice for ongoing projects.
You may delete your voice samples and generated audio at any time via the service's history tab.
Teachers and students are responsible for:
Ensuring that voice samples and text inputs comply with ethical standards and do not infringe on third-party rights.
Teachers: Obtaining necessary permissions (e.g., parental consent for students under 18) before using the service in educational settings.
Students: Using the service under the guidance of teachers or with parental consent if under 18.
You retain ownership of your voice samples and generated audio. However, any content created using our service for public sharing (e.g., teacher-created lessons) must comply with copyright and intellectual property laws.
You agree not to:
Use the service to create audio that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
Attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the voice cloning technology.
Share generated audio in a way that violates privacy or ethical standards.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these Terms or engage in unethical use. Upon termination, your voice samples and generated audio may be deleted.
Our service is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from the use or misuse of generated audio, including in educational settings by teachers or students.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Insert Jurisdiction, e.g., California, USA]. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Insert Jurisdiction].
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our service or legal requirements. Users will be notified via email or through the service interface. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
